Who we are

UdyogSetu ("we", "us") runs the UdyogSetu website and app, a directory that connects customers with local shops, service providers, industrial vendors and MSMEs across India. We are based in Anand, Gujarat, India.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash), or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.
• Business details that vendors add: business name, category, address, city, state, phone, WhatsApp number, email, Instagram handle, logo, photos, catalog items, prices and descriptions. These are shown publicly on your listing.
• KYC documents that vendors upload for verification (for example Udyam or GST certificates). These are visible only to UdyogSetu admins, never to the public.
• Enquiries, order requests and reviews that customers send: name, phone number, message, delivery address and rating.
• Payment records for subscriptions (amount, date, plan and payment reference). Card or UPI details are handled by our payment partner, not stored by us.
• Basic usage data, such as profile views and Call / WhatsApp button clicks, to show vendors their lead statistics.

How we use it

• To show business listings, catalogs and mini websites to customers.
• To deliver enquiries, orders, reviews and alerts to vendors by dashboard, email and (when enabled) WhatsApp.
• To verify vendors, manage subscriptions, send invoices, receipts and plan reminders.
• To create AI features you ask for: product photos you upload may be sent to AI service providers to write titles, specifications, descriptions and Instagram post text and images. They are not used by us for advertising.
• To publish posts to your Instagram Business account, only if you connect it.
• To keep the platform safe, for example limiting how many enquiries can be sent and stopping misuse.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run UdyogSetu (hosting, email delivery, payments, AI processing, WhatsApp messaging and Instagram publishing), and when the law requires it. Information you put on a public listing can be seen by anyone.

Storage on your device

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember small choices (for example a hidden install banner or an invite link). We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

• Vendors can edit or remove their listing details, catalog items, photos and posts at any time from the dashboard.
• To delete your account and data, email support@udyogsetuindia.com from your registered email. We will delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as invoices).

Children

UdyogSetu is meant for business use and is not directed at anyone under 18. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or apply for jobs.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
